Pillow allergies are most commonly caused by dust mites and/or bird feather pillows (down). Although, there are very few reports of allergic reaction to our pillows, we do not advertise Hullo as a hypoallergenic pillow. Below, you can read reviews from customers who mentioned allergies in their review.

My Neck Pain is Gone!
I had been dealing with neck pain every morning for about a year and was thinking I may need to find a new pillow. My old pillows offered very little support and I assumed I needed something that would provide more consistent support. My husband did a lot of research and then surprised me with a Hullo for my birthday, and it has completely eradicated my neck pain. I wake up refreshed every morning and have been telling everyone I know about this pillow! It doesn’t impact my allergies and I love that it can be easily adjusted to give me all the support I want.
This pillow solves several issues for me. It is comfortable. When I lay on the pillow the buckwheat kernels adjust to my head and neck to provide support all night. I am allergic to feather pillows. Like foam pillows, they both compress and need adjusting through the night. Thank you, hullo, for making a great pillow.
Due to allergies I can no longer use my favorite feather pillow. Hullo has the adjustability of a feather pillow–and no allergic reactions. After being out of town sleeping at a my Mom’s house–on my Mom’s pillows–I headed home happily to my Hullo and a good nights sleep!!!!
Many nights I can hardly wait for my head to hit the Hullo after a busy day of work!
