Being a sufferer for many years of neck pain and the resulting recurring headaches, I like I suppose many other people would try just about anything for a little relief. After using for several months I found that there was no change in the symptoms which I experienced. The neck pain remains about the same as do the resulting headaches. The Hullo pillow occupies a place on a chair in my bedroom unused. I have gone back to my regular pillows. Net result is that I am out the money I spent on this pillow purchase. Sorry, but it did not work at all for me.
I have huge shoulders and sleep on my side. I’ve been riddled with neck and neck pain my whole life. And I’m fit! So my arches and pains don’t come from just lack of taking care of myself.
It took me a week to get used to, but I can’t imagine ever going back. Having amazing support no matter what side I roll to, every night, is just such a luxury. I know it’s $100. I know it’s a first world thing. But if you can’t sleep and the 1/3 of the time is screwing with with the other 2/3…it’s worth it.
I’ve been a fan of buckwheat pillows for a long time but Hullo’s product has been the best one so far!! Hullo was perfect from the start. I didn’t have to adjust the amount of buckwheat or anything, just unpacked and use. It’s worth every penny. And the people at Hullo were very nice. Thank you!
And not for me. A bit loud an coarse, extremely heavy. I kept removing more and more material until it finally worked after 3/4 of original fill was removed. But it does not fold over well, and the loudness of response when rolling head back and forth proved too much, and I finally emptied it onto the garden compost. Back to simple small feather pillow – better for me.
I searched about the benefits of buckwheat pillow before making the purchase. No complaints there.
The pillow arrived with very less buckwheat. I called hullo and had to wait for more buckwheat to arrive before I can use my pillow. It would be better if they send more to everyone instead of less. The buckwheat crushes with use and I find myself adding more every few months. I recommended to a friend and he also had to wait for more buckwheat to arrive before he can use the pillow.
I like the material of the pillow case but they sewed over the zipper, so I had to remove stitches to unzip the pillow case. Small details but it creates hassle for the customers.
It took a few days to get used to, and I wasn’t sure at first. But now I love it!

So happy with this purchase! My husband and I were not happy with our memory foam pillows, and I saw Hullo on facebook and was intrigued. When you receive the pillows, they seem strangely heavy and firm. However, it is by far the most comfortable pillow that I’ve ever slept on!
Tried the pillow for 3 months and finally gave up. Certainly keeps the head cooler than a regular pillow, but i could not get comfortable on it.
And it’s expensive!

I like the concept of a well structured pillow, especially for sitting, but for sleeping I found it dangerous… apparently my natural sleep position is to put an arm under my head (and pillow) and as i sleep the Hullo puts too much pressure on it and the arm gets tingly etc. I’m not sure if removing hulls would help or not.

Let me first say, I was So busy trying to love my Hullo pillow that I missed the deadline for returning it, otherwise I would have sent it back. I’ve spent a load of time removing and adding the bulls trying to find a comfortable level. It continues to evade me. Overall I find the pillow to be too firm. Sometimes it’s ok if I layer it with a softer pillow on top. In the end, it’s another $160 spent on a pillow I don’t use, and it’s gathering dust in my pillow graveyard.
Too heavy and did not help for the sleep at all
Hullo supports my neck. It’s a great pillow. I’m glad that I longer have to crunch up a pillow while sleeping. I’ve ruined many pillows over the years and I’m happy with how much better Hullo is. Happy The Loop recommended it.

For a few years, I have been searching for a pillow that allows me to wake up without neck pain. I have literally spent nearly $1,000 on pillows. Soft, firm, memory foam, contour, gel, designed by sleep specialists, etc… I have tried them all with no relief.
I got my Hullo pillow yesterday and this morning is the first morning in years I have awoken with no neck pain. Love my Hullo!

I have bought all natural buckwheat hull filled pillows before, and that converted me to using them, since they were natural, breathable, and provided great support for the neck while sleeping (in keeping with God’s design of the human neck-this offers ideal support I’ve found)! When I needed another buckwheat hull filled pillow, I looked into and decided to try Hullo pillow, I could not be more satisfied with this pillow! A nice soft, durable organic cotton cover over all natural buckwheat hulls! And, there was NO odors at all of the pillow! That’s the best thing to top it off! I recommend these pillows! In fact, I just came here to order another one 🙂
It’s great how it’s malleable to support your neck. I personally find the small Hullo to be just right! It’s a nice size. Easy to position for optimal comfort.

I LOVE my Hullos. We have four, and I just ordered two more king sized pillows. I am 7 months pregnant and I have a 3 year old and 1 year old. At the end of the day, I can’t wait to crawl into bed with my Hullos.
They also make great reading pillows, I prop them up when I am reading in bed and they offer a very comfortable and supportive backrest.
I highly recommend molding them prior to sleeping on them.
When I was looking for a buckwheat pillow, I was getting frustrated because the buckwheat pillows I was finding were made in China and not organic. I love that these are made in the USA, organic, and extremely clean (dust free).
