Grateful
I have used this pillow for about 8 weeks. This pillow keeps it shape, wheather lying on my back or side. I have been trying pillows for the past 20 years or so – feather pillows, foam pillows, Tempur-Pedic pillows, neck tubes, towels rolled behind my neck, and even a My Pillow pillow. We sleep on the Tempur-Pedic mattress, a very supportive mattress, yet still had head/neck issues upon waking.
It did take about a month to get acclimated to the buckwheat hulls in the pillow, at first it felt very hard. Then, after taking out and returning different amounts of buckwheat hulls from and back into the pillow cover, I have reached “my comfort level”. I’d say this pillow has eased about 90% of my discomfort, better than all the other pillows.

I Love It
I ordered my pillow on a Friday it was shipped out the same day! Got it very quickly. Have had my pillow for four nights now and I love it. Very different from any other pillow I’ve tried but, that’s the point. Have had great sleep and no kinked neck when I wake up. Seems as if the pillow actually prevents that.

Best Sleep Ever
Had heard John Gruber’s recommendation/ad on his Podcast, ‘The Talk Show’, for months and my wife and I finally decided to take the plunge, as we really needed some new pillows. After a few nights of adjustment, we both have been sleeping better than we have in years. I have not been waking up at night, my wife says I am snoring less and neither of us are waking up with neck pain and we feel refreshed in the morning.
Not sure what it is, but this is honestly the best sleep decision we have ever made. Would highly recommend you try these pillows out, well worth the cost.

Skeptical… At First

I’m Not Kidding: This Pillow Changed My Life
I was on the fence about buying this pillow for a long time; it’s somewhat expensive (although justifiably so), and would it *really* make that big a difference? But the money-back guarantee convinced me to give it a try.

Love This Pillow
I have tried so many pillows and this, by far, is my favorite. It creates no heat and has helped my neck – I no longer wake up with pain. I purchased one for my mom and she loves hers as well. I would suggest a larger pillow case for it – so the hulls do not bunch up creating a harder feel. I definitely recommend. It may take a day or 2 to get used to but it definitely is worth it!

My Second Pillow and I Still Love
I received a pillow years ago and wore the sucker out. It was the same price for the amount of hullls needed or a new pillow. New pillow it was! It wasn’t as firm as I would’ve liked and the awesome customer service helped me with it.

Comfort and Substance
I have other buckwheat hull pillows (because I’ve had neck trouble for decades), but this one is the best made and definitely the most versatile: good for back support if sitting up in bed, wonderful for sleeping in any posture, and nice to lay an arm across while reading in bed. I sometimes have to adjust the hulls for proper support as I change sleep positions, but it only takes a second.
I would recommend this for anyone with cervical issues like mine. The nice even temperature is a big plus too.

Finally!
I found Hullo after doing research on how to become a back sleeper, since my other pillows were giving me pillow-face (face wrinkles from side sleeping) and neck aches. I ordered one and while the hulls are a little noisy at first, it really is THE BEST pillow for me. So happy I found Hullo!

A Different Kind of Pillow
The original pillow was too thick but luckily you can change the hull amount to fit your own needs. I took around 8 cups out and it was perfect. I shake it up every morning to air it a bit. You need to adjust the hull position once a night but once it is done I have a good night’s sleep and I wake up without neck or back pain.

My Back Pain Has Disappeared
I’ve had this pillow for about 2 months. Before, I would wake up with lower-back pain almost every morning. I can’t think of day where I’ve had any back pain in the morning , and it’s all thanks to this pillow. I’ll definitely be getting more in the future. I’m sold!

No Going Back
I used to get headaches on at least once or twice a week. I tried doing yoga every day, and it reduced them, but I had to be so diligent to do it, and if I missed it in the morning I still might have a headache.
After getting this pillow, my headaches have been significantly decreased, and almost always because I do something like stare down at my computer screen too long.
My only complain is that I still get ear pain if I sleep on my side on my ear for too long. I do like that I can push some of the hulls out of the way to make a little pocket for my ear, but I don’t always do that in my sleep.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has recurring neck pain or headaches!

Best Pillow Ever!
At first, I thought I made a mistake because the pillow was so heavy. But from the first night up to now, I have no neck pain, and most important, I get a great night’s rest. I may have to flip my pillow over once through out the night because I get a little warm but not every night like use to in the past. I’m so happy I brought this pillow.

A Pillow Gathering Dust
Being a sufferer for many years of neck pain and the resulting recurring headaches, I like I suppose many other people would try just about anything for a little relief. After using for several months I found that there was no change in the symptoms which I experienced. The neck pain remains about the same as do the resulting headaches. The Hullo pillow occupies a place on a chair in my bedroom unused. I have gone back to my regular pillows. Net result is that I am out the money I spent on this pillow purchase. Sorry, but it did not work at all for me.

I’ve Been Waiting My Whole Life for this Pillow
I have huge shoulders and sleep on my side. I’ve been riddled with neck and neck pain my whole life. And I’m fit! So my arches and pains don’t come from just lack of taking care of myself.
It took me a week to get used to, but I can’t imagine ever going back. Having amazing support no matter what side I roll to, every night, is just such a luxury. I know it’s $100. I know it’s a first world thing. But if you can’t sleep and the 1/3 of the time is screwing with with the other 2/3…it’s worth it.

Goodbye Sore Neck

WOW!
For a few years, I have been searching for a pillow that allows me to wake up without neck pain. I have literally spent nearly $1,000 on pillows. Soft, firm, memory foam, contour, gel, designed by sleep specialists, etc… I have tried them all with no relief.

ONLY Pillow for ME!!!
Best pillow ever for me, however, I’m sure it’s not for everyone. It does take a slight adjustment getting used to it. I like firm pillows and a truly firm pillow is not easily found these days. This thing is amazing and I’ve been using mine for more than a year. I haven’t had a kink, crook or pain in my neck once since using it. In fact, I’ve told my wife, more than once, how great my neck feels. I can turn my neck completely left or right with absolutely no pain or hesitation. Almost feels like you do after a good massage. The Best Pillow You Will Ever Sleep On
I am obsessed with my Hullos. When I am at home, I cannot sleep comfortably unless I have them. I definitely miss them when I traveling, and I am going to purchase a small pillow for traveling. I use them as back support and as a pillow to hug while I am sleeping. I love that they are moldable so I can customize the support of my back and neck.
I have two young children, so by the end of the day my back is aching from bending down and picking babies and toys up all day. They take some getting used to, and they are more expensive than some pillows, but well worth it. Plus I love that they are organic and stay very clean/dust-free.

Good at First
I loved this pillow at first, the noise was nothing and the comfort level was high. It even looked really good, which is not something I normally notice.
However, after a few months, I started developing headaches and neck pain. I took out fill, added fill, and did what I could. It just wasn’t for me. I shift from my side to my back during the night and it’s not easy to readjust the pillow without waking up and doing it. Of course, I was outside the return window but that was my fault.
