Great Firm Pillow

I wanted something firm for neck support that wouldn’t go flat overnight and over time.  Hullo has that covered no problem!  No neck pain since I got it!

Too Loud to Sleep On

I agree that the Hullo does stay cooler than normal pillows, which is nice. It’s particularly important as this means it doesn’t require flipping, and you basically can’t flip it. At least not easily while laying down.

My problem was that even after a few weeks sleeping on it it still constantly woke me up because of how loud it is. It isn’t so loud as to wake up the person next to you, but your ears are right up on it, and while I assumed I’d eventually “get used to it”, even after a few weeks I still wasn’t sleeping well on it. I’d have returned it, but it’s really quite heavy, and I suspect the shipping cost would have made it not worth it.

It does seem well made, and I like the product in theory. I doubt most people will find it too loud, but I did. I’ve just been using it when I lay on the couch.

I Love My Hullo

This is the best pillow I have ever owned.  I have neck/back problems and this has alleviated most of these problems.

I no longer wake up with any pain and get a much better sleep.  The pillow stays cool throughout the night which reduces my tossing and turning.  It has also helped greatly with nighttime snoring 🙂

Hullo is the Best!

I learned about the Hullo from an ad they placed on Loop Insight. Usually I don’t go for product placements, but in this case, I’m glad I did.

The Hullo has dramatically improved the way I sleep. I love that it can be shaped to fit my neck and sleeping posture.

The sound of the hulls hasn’t bothered me or my wife. To be honest, I’m not sure who would be annoyed by this, but it’s certainly not an issue for us.

I’m thinking about ordering them as holiday gifts for my parents and co-workers; the only thing keeping me from doing it is the cost of shipping to Hawaii.

Insomnia Starting to Get Better

I’ve tried a number of pillows over the years; cheap ones, expensive ones, latex foam ones.

All, even the “fancy” ones eventually just get lumps and I need to replace them. I tried foam because they wouldn’t end up with lumps but they don’t really hold my head in place and I feel my neck/shoulders tensing.

I’ve had insomnia (take 2-3 hours to fall asleep) for about 14 years.

It still take me a while to fall asleep but It’s been drastically improved with this pillow.

I sleep on my stomach and took out about half of the filling.

Highly recommended.

My Hullo to Better Sleep

I have tried down, memory foam, and synthetic down pillows, but none compare to my Hullo.  I sleep on my side and back and I love how this will confirm but still be supportive.   You adjust the firmness desired.  I also appreciate that is does not get hot  causing sweaty neck as I had with memory foam pillow and yet it stays supportive unlike my down pillows.  I get the best sleep.

You do need to get used to the noise of shells moving but now I do not notice and my husband never noticed.  There is no funny smell like the memory foam pillow.

Being able to take shells out of case and air out  in a box when I wash the cases is nice and eco friendly.

Love This Pillow

I have had a buckwheat pillow for many years.  My new Hullo pillow is wonderful, airy and forms beautifully around my neck and shoulders.  I am very happy with this pillow.

You Can’t Have It Back!

I bought these pillows thinking I would give them an honest go and see how I felt after a few weeks. I figured my wife might not like them and then we’d return them after the trial period. I was very wrong.

She might like them even more than I do, which is saying a lot. In fact, they could set up a service where a person couldn’t purchase them, but rent them instead. I’d happily pay $5 a month to RENT a pillow. That’s how much I like it. Our necks don’t hurt anymore. When complimented with a great mattress, these pillows can change your sleep for the better.

Obsessed

I have never thought I would use the word “obsessed” to talk about a pillow. I can officially say I am obsessed. I am 5.5 months pregnant and my back is starting to really hurt. I have been thinking about my hullo all afternoon. I got my hullo a year or two ago, and I have always really liked it, but now I LOVE it. I would highly recommend this to anyone who gets a sore neck, sore back, or just needs some extra support.

My Arms Feel Great

Wow is all I have to say–if you have problems with your arms falling asleep when you sleep then this pillow is the answer.  I sleep with my arm under a pillow; when I sleep, my arm would always go numb. Now, with this pillow, the hulls bridge around my arm and now I have no more numbness.

Love This Pillow!

This pillow is the best!  I had pretty much given up on finding a pillow that works for me.  Now, I get a restful sleep every night and love how my head stays cool.  I had never heard about these kinds of pillows until I happened upon a NY Times article about pillows and several readers wrote in recommending the buckwheat pillow.  This pillow is genius. Make it High, or Make it Low

Tried every conceivable kind of pillow – all price ranges – would wake up with neck pain – this is perfect.  Got one for my daughter and she loves hers also.

I Love My Pillow

I’ve owed a tiny one for years and would have to put it on top of a slim polyester one and scrunch it up. I had a broken neck so every night is a challenge to get comfortable. I ordered the full size one and I LOVE it. It might take a night or two to get used to the fact that its not supper soft. But I love the fact its cool AND pretty much stays in the shape you scrunch it too or wiggle your head in it ! Im considering ordering one to ship out of state to my kids for when I go visit.

Finally Found the Perfect Pillow

Over the years I’ve spent hundred of dollars— from the cheap $10 ones to the the “hotel quality” ones in the hundreds of dollars range—and never found anything that helped me sleep more comfortably and more consistently night after night. My Hullo pillow is literally a game changer when it comes to my quality of sleep. So much so that after two days of raving my wife stole my pillow for the night and the next day we were ordering a second one for her.

Sweet Relief :)

I have quite a bit of neck pain, and I have tried every pillow under the sun–soft, medium, hard, memory foam (contoured and non contoured), down, feather, you name it…I’ve tried it. I visited my Aunt who told me about the Hullo, and let me use for the duration of my stay. It does feel different than any other pillow that I have used, but it has the support that every other pillow cannot provide. You can make it as contoured or flat as you need it to be, and it doesn’t hold heat. So nice. My other half kept taking mine, so I had to get another so I didn’t lose my favorite find!

Very Good Pillow

Very good pillow. It takes a bit of getting use to, but once you adjust I can’t imagine sleeping on anything else. I find that I sweat less, toss and turn less. The pillow allows for less lift, more lift etc.

So Beautifully Amazing

The best sleep ever! Nothing else will ever be as good. With the right balance of hulls you are golden and will never toss and turn. Neck pain will be a thing of the past. Do not hesitate to buy one for every bed in your home, it’s simply the absolute best!

Easy to Customize

The case and zipper are very sturdy, and I appreciate how easy it is to adjust the thickness of the pillow by just removing or adding hulls.

I usually sleep on my back, and ended up removing about half of the hulls to find the pillow density that feels just right.  As I removed the hulls, I was impressed by the uniform consistency/quality of the hulls themselves (same color/size, no shredded bits or dust).

This pillow feels much cooler than other types I’ve tried, so no more flipping the pillow in the middle of the night to try to find the cool side!

Best Pillow Ever

The buckwheat pillow is great for me because I move around a lot while sleeping. The pillow has helped me not toss and turn. It also has helped my neck pain from sleeping on my side. My husband liked mine so much, I had to order him one. This pillow is the best buckwheat pillow on the market!

A Perfect Night’s Sleep Awaits You

Ten or more years ago I found that a buckwheat pillow did wonders for supporting my troubled neck. Recently I replaced my old pillows with a new Hullo pillow. The new pillow is a larger size and gives me more support for my arthritic neck. From the first night my neck felt so much more healthy from the support of the Hullo. I have found that resting my arm on the pillow keeps my back in alignment and I get a much better night’s sleep. I can’t say enough positive things about how wonderful this product is for a perfect nights’ sleep.
